website which allows its users to add, modify, or delete its content via a web
browser. The difference between them is that a blog is owned by an individual
whereas wiki is being updated by many people around the world.
A digital portfolio is an electronic
portfolio, also known as an e-portfolio or digital portfolio, is a collection
of electronic evidence assembled and managed by a user, usually on the Web.
Such electronic evidence may include inputted text, electronic files, images,
multimedia, blog entries, and hyperlinks, the important features in a digital portfolio
is text, Images, blog entries.
Advantage of a digital portfolio is an
online portfolio proves that the student is proficient with technology; it
leaves the paper trail behind so online portfolios do not have the bulk, and it
is easier to share with others.
Disadvantage of a digital portfolio
is that if anyone has any questions about it, it is inconvenient not to be able
to talk to the student right then. Also security is an issue with online
portfolios.
